FAQ

ANSWERS WITHOUT THE RUNAROUND.

The practical LVL2 questions in one place: what is free right now, how booking works, where Store fits, and how clients get help.

Billing and payments

Money, deposits, and pricing

Is LVL2 free right now?

Yes. LVL2 is free while payment processing is paused and replacement processing is evaluated. There are no LVL2 subscription fees, platform fees, or paid deposit checkouts active right now.

Can I still collect deposits from clients?

LVL2-hosted paid deposit checkout is paused. You can still use requests, client records, scheduling, reminders, and your public booking flow while you arrange payment directly with clients outside LVL2 if needed.

What happens when payments come back?

Any subscription, deposit, processor fee, platform fee, or split-payment charge will be shown clearly before payment is collected. Nothing gets charged silently.

Booking and clients

Requests, approvals, and client flow

How do clients book through LVL2?

Clients use your public booking page to send the details that matter: service, placement, references, schedule needs, and contact info. You can review requests before they turn into confirmed appointments.

Can I approve requests manually?

Yes. LVL2 is built around artist control. You can review the request, message the client, adjust details, and confirm only when the appointment makes sense.

Does LVL2 sync with my calendar?

Yes. LVL2 supports calendar workflows so confirmed appointments can stay organized around your real schedule instead of getting buried in direct messages.

Stores and discovery

Public pages, Store, and getting found

What is the difference between Store and Exchange?

Store is the client-facing place where an artist or studio sells merch, flash, prints, digital goods, and other products. Exchange is the artist-to-artist marketplace for tools, templates, and education.

Can clients find artists on LVL2?

Yes. Public discovery surfaces like Artists, Map, and Store help clients browse artists, locations, and customer-facing products without flattening every artist into the same generic profile.

Do artist pages keep their own style?

Yes. Artist public pages are user-themed. LVL2 keeps shared behavior consistent while preserving the artist's own identity, visuals, and booking context.

Support and trust

Security, data, and help

How do I contact LVL2 support?

Email support@leveltwo.app or use the contact page. LVL2 also lists public support details for account, billing, receipt, invoice, and platform questions.

Is my client data safe?

LVL2 is designed around secure account access, explicit client flows, and controlled workspace data. Sensitive payment details are handled by payment processors when payment features are active.

Where should clients go after booking?

Clients can use their client portal or request-status link to track appointments, messages, reviews, payments when enabled, and follow-up details.
