It covers card processing

The client pays one booking fee on each card payment for the tattoo — the deposit, the balance, a full payment or a walk-in. It covers card processing, so there's no separate processing fee and nothing comes off your price.

Questions

Who pays the booking fee?

The client, by default. You can split it 50/50 with the client or cover it yourself in Settings › Money.

Is there a separate card processing fee?

No. The booking fee covers card processing. There's no processing line on top and nothing comes out of your price.

How much is the booking fee?

9.9% on Free, 4.5% on Plus and 3.5% on Pro, with a $2.50 minimum. It applies to every card payment for the tattoo: deposits, balances, full payments and walk-ins.

When do I get paid?

Card payments land in your bank the next business day. Payouts run every business day.

Do tips have a fee?

No. Tips are 100% yours and never carry a fee.

Can I refund a deposit?

Yes. Refund a card payment in full from Payments and it goes back to the client's card. Your refund window and policy are yours to set.

Who can take card payments?

Artists and studios in the United States — all 50 states and Washington, DC.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Free is $0 a month. Plus and Pro lower the booking fee.
